The media covers things that people want to see. For goodness sakes, Foxnews didn't cover them!! Reporting on what basically amount to hate fest were ok once but why do it again? What new information was going to be gleaned from these small gatherings? Local news had short bits on some of them..What more do you want for sparsely attended BBQs with posters and loud speakers? Should the media be handcuffed into showing the same people with the same posters everytime they decide to gather?

You are right. I found this for July 4, but they are still counting. I guess I'll just have to wait for the final tallies, after all 1504 cities have reported.
