According to the NEW YORK POST of last Friday, I believe, she was born in Puerto Rico, and brought to the Bronx, NY, as a toddler, therefore, raised in NYC. Her father then passed away, and she was brought up by her mother and family members that instilled in her lots of ambition and motivation. They were extremely poor............
Can you show me that news online, because that news is wrong. Sonia Sotomayor was born in the Bronx. Maybe you misinterpreted the news
Her parents were the one that came to NY and were poor.

Every person elected to the supreme court should be judged by their performance as a judge and not as a politically correct choice. If she is qualified, she should be elected.
So you think that justices should be decided by race, and Presidents as well. I personally don't believe that race should have anything to do with these positions, however, racists like yourself (as you have said) think that race is the most important factor. Which is more racist, I, who believe that we should judge people based on their character, or you, who says we should judge them by the color of their skin?

Stop defending this woman. The only reason she got in is because she's Mexican. She has admitted that she won't judge based on the Constitution, that should exclude her.
She has also talked about trying to legalize 20 million ILLEGAL ALIENS, who should be immediately deported. These ILLEGALS contribute nothing to society, they are breaking the law by their presence, they cost taxpayers money, and she says "let 'em stay!"
