They obviously did. They begged him to grant them all pardons before he left office, and he totally ignored them. They did his dirty work for him and he didn't need them any more. That video of Engoron he just posted is his attempt to push the envelope to see how far it will stretch. It's a blatant attempt to mislead, because Engoron was talking about juries, which are not a factor in the fraud case.

No, Trump is not free to say whatever he wants. Free speech ends at the doors of the courtroom, where the judge has absolute control over what the parties may or may not say with respect to the court or the case.
