Those holy rollers are minorities.

What are your plans? Ban religion and alienate blacks and Hispanics?

Nearly eight-in-ten black Americans (79%) identify as Christian, according to Pew Research Center’s 2014 Religious Landscape Study. By comparison, seven-in-ten Americans overall (71%) say they are Christian, including 70% of whites, 77% of Latinos and just 34% of Asian Americans.

Not anymore odd than trusting Dr Fauci to know what’s best for your body, but not Clarence Thomas.

Either the government knows what’s best for your body or they don’t. You can’t make exceptions for vaccines and masks.

Due to advances in pre-natal screening and diagnostic testing, women that get pre-natal health care often know ahead of time about fetal anomalies.

For those that decide to continue their pregnancy, some could well be facing a lifetime of caring for, and trying to access services for, a person with multiple disabilities.

Ask any parent of a child with multiple disabilities how easy it is get appropriate medical, therapy, and educational services.

Now imagine triple the number of children needing those services.

It's a nightmare scenario for a support system already stretched thin.

Just because you don't believe in science, doesn't mean the rest of us are equally ignorant of how viruses spread.

Vaccines have a long history of effectiveness in preventing the spread of viruses. Research it yourself if you doubt me.

I'll save you the trouble with masks, "preponderance of evidence indicates that mask wearing reduces transmissibility per contact by reducing transmission of infected respiratory particles"

https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2014564118

In any case, the vaccines and masks are about everybody's body.

Clarence Thomas has not recused himself from cases his wife is involved in. So, no I don't trust him.

I'm guessing they didn't think that one through yet. Either that, or they're hell bent on destroying the gene pool.
Hard to say what the deal is here, but IVF frequently involves fertilizing multiple eggs, testing for viability and anomalies, then transplanting multiple embryos in hopes of at least one settling in.

Sometimes a whole bunch settle in, and some are removed to give the remaining ones a fighting chance at development.

The leftover embryos are either frozen in a lab to be thawed out later (which, need I remind anyone is, despite Stars Wars, actually impossible with real human beings), while the rest are discarded.

Hard to imagine the life-begins-at-conception crowd thinking this is okay.

Just because you believed human life is worthless, doesn't mean the rest of us want to kill babies via U.S. taxpayer money. Your need to kill fetuses does not override the states right to protect them, nor offset the 80% of religious blacks and Hispanics who are against abortion.

Now enjoy a rich old black grumpy conservative justice telling you what to do with your body, like we had to enjoy Dr. Fauci telling us the same.

The stats are very clear, unless you're obese, you had a 99% survival rate. You cannot vaccinate your way to a healthy lifestyle.

The vaccine, nor a mask, isn't a supplement to a healthy lifestyle and isn't going to save you from viruses. Get off you butt and go to a gym and get on a diet.

The court has opened up a landslide of legislation in these red states that will end up swamping the courts. Kavanaugh was very naive in his opinion claiming that this decision didn't empower anti-abortion states to forbid or even criminalize attempts by their citizens to procure abortions in neighboring states or assist others. Oklahoma just passed a law that that bans abortion from the point of fertilization, states are passing Texas style bounty laws for those that assist in abortion.

Also just a matter of time before a same-sex marriage case makes it's way to the courts in one of the states that still has a ban on the books, why not they have a receptive court.

This court always underestimates the consequences of their actions whether it's voting rights, Citizens United and now abortion.

From the minority in Dobbs:

“Either the mass of the majority’s opinion is hypocrisy, or additional constitutional rights are under threat. It is one or the other.”

Funny you should mention minorities, because they have 4 times the abortion rate as whites. Are you sure they're anti-abortion?

Clarence is not a physician or scientist. Whatever you think of Fauci, he is a scientist. Maybe you think education in a given field doesn't matter. Geeze !

Which still remains outside of the focus of the US Supreme Court.

Their job is to determine how each law supports the US Constitution, or not.

They have determined that this topic is NOT something the Federal government should stick its fingers into. The states have just gained a tiny sliver of power / authority to govern themselves.
