That's how wars work, people die, and you send more to the front line until one side is tired of dying. Haven't you read about Operation Barbarossa? 500K Soviets died, and they still won. We had to drop nukes on Japan because they were not tired of dying, but we were.
Russia has 900K+ troops in reserves, they can play this game out for a very long time. Again, see WW2.
People are much more willing to fight when their home soil is being invaded compared to invading another nation. See America's recent wars and the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.
Yes, but it would be best to be immediately incinerated in a nuclear holocaust rather than be on the fringes and then suffer for days of radiation sickness. Or be immediately drowned in a hurricane. Fast is the way to go.
That would be better than fighting other peeps for food and having to keep a gun ready 24/7 AND the slow death for many from fall out.
Why would they release an official announcement that they are not selling weapons to Putin?
Here is an article that discusses that.
Basically, North Korea doesn't admit to their arms sales because usually the customer is up to no good. If you go back and look at the earlier articles from responsible media, they say things like North Korea plans to ... or is negotiating ... and so on. They don't say North Korea has begun shipping weapons.
So North Korea is saying that they haven't done that thing that they weren't exactly accused of.
The other possibility is that maybe North Korea isn't being honest about what Russia and NK are up to. I know, everyone is shocked that I would say that.

With what bows and arrows? Who is going to train these people? How many will actually make it to the front line. Warm bodies don't mean much when your overall military has been degraded. The US entered the war in WW2 and suppled Russia on a massive scale, plus they were fighting for their very existence much the same as the Ukrainians today. Buying ammo from N. Korea ain't going to cut it here and the Russian people may say they support this "military operation" but they don't want to actually fight it. The impact of this will be minimal if barely noticed at all.
you can't believe anything coming out of Russia or North Korea..their actions almost always contradict their words..
I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I think North Korea may very well be telling the truth on this one. North Korea is being kept afloat by China, and this war is not in China's interests. Despite what Russia spews, Russia and China are not BFF's. China looks out for China only, and now that Putin galvanized the West in a way not seen in decades, China is gonna be kept under much closer watch over Taiwan. Even Putin himself recently admitted that Xi Jinping wasn't thrilled about the invasion.
If North Korea refused to give weapons to Russia, then it's a safe bet that China told them not to do it.
