It's in the Russian advantage for the international community to lock in some of what they snatched before the Ukrainian armed forces takes it back.

Putin will most likely demand Donbas and perhaps parts of southern Ukraine or a ceasefire to just have time to rearm and replenish for another go. Non-starter for Ukrainians. The Ukrainians have already stated that their goal is to liberate Ukraine in its entirety. Better to keep kicking the rotten house that is the Russian Army until it crumbles.

Putin is just trying to buy time for his troops to regroup. Never trust Putin.

Right. Putin is just lying again like usual to buy another week or some short time. He can’t give up any land or he’s finished.

As predicted, Russia's puppet governments in stolen Ukrainian lands will soon vote to join Russia under sham referendums. Once they are part of Russia, dictator Putin can escalate if Ukraine try to take back the lands. Now is the time for NATO to increase support for Ukraine.

Now is the time for cooler heads. Ukraine cannot defeat Russia. They should be happy if Vlad lets them have access to the Black Sea via Odessa. Say goodbye to the East. Lift the sanctions and get back to business. For Europe's sake. China and India are siding with the Bear. Enough already.

Well, the sooner the whole thing is resolved, the sooner the money the West is pouring into the war machine can be applied instead to rebuilding Ukraine. Z will be back to his begging bowl circuit as soon as the war is over, asking the West to finance the reconstruction.

Ukraine absolutely can defeat Russia. They are currently doing so. Russia's military equipment is being destroyed in this war. By the time it is over they will have nothing left and will lack the economic capability to replace what has been lost. Since Russia is the main security threat and destructive force in Europe we should let them continue to degrade their military in Ukraine until they are no longer a threat to us or their neighbors. That won't be long. What we are witnessing is the end of Russia as a military power. Putin's miscalculation will cost them dearly.

I don't agree. The biggest security threat to Europe is the country/counties sending arms and money to Ukraine. Once these votes take place in the Eastern region and become a part of the Russian Federation an attack on that will be an act of war. I imagine the MIC will love that. Ukraine reclaims some cow pasture of no significance and the MSM sees this as great victories for the West.

The country that rolled its army into a neighboring county and routinely has its state media talking about using nuclear weapons on European targets - isn't? Could have fooled me.
