No, I'm waiting for the Ukie-bots to get their updates from Zelensky. It's getting harder and harder for them to maneuver around increasing inconvenient truths. There appear to be quite a few of them on this site. They should call on Zelensky to hurry it up and let them know how they should proceed.

They might want to try to contact the piano player at his new abode in the UK. Highgrove House. We all chipped in and gave our boy fighting for freedom his not ours for 20 million pounds. How can we improve his life? Now tell me he hasn't moved in yet and that Russia is going broke with Crude over 80 bucks a barrel. Or that Putin is dying or that Ukraine is winning.

But of course that did not happen.

So yes, the Ukrainians have realized that kind of victory is not possible but they did envision that earlier. So they have had to downsize their expectations. But just trying to hold it together as a country is no longer possible either. Electrical outages are taking place all over Ukraine as the Russians continue their missile and drone attacks. Attacks on infrastructure are continuing. Once enough of the power generation systems have been taken out, Ukraine will basically grind to a halt.

The Russians have still not committed all of their military against Ukraine. As the warm weather starts to arrive in the next few weeks, there are strong indications that the Russians are going to be mounting powerful offensives all along the front that will finish the job of defeating Ukraine. The Ukrainians might think about dialing down their expectations again.

The objective was to weaken Russia and split it into pieces. Enriching US politicians was pure serendipity.

Yes, definitely correct as the behind the scenes objective. If the Ukrainian counteroffensive had succeeded as outlined with Donbas and Crimea in Zelensky's pocket, the hope was that the Russians, supposedly weakened by the war, would have overthrown Putin. And of course, splitting that biggest country in the world would be a bonus with the plundering of Russia's resources at the forefront. All in the name of "freedom".

Unusual "drone". It looked like a small Cessna type. But it sure did the job.

Quite a few Russian factories seem to be having troubles lately.

That is good news about Highgrove House! For Zelensky that is. I'm so glad that he has an escape residence in the UK once Ukraine falls apart and he has to flee. I suppose that he could have given that purchase money to buy more weapons and materiel for Ukraine's armed forces, but hey, you have to draw the line somewhere. A nice property to live in. Who could blame him?

How things go for Ukraine depends on what Republicans do when they get back from vacation.

Republicans rule the House with a slim margin. All it will take is a couple to realize that they don't want to be traitors, they don't want to spend their one precious life backing Putin.

Ukrainians are willing to fight, but with their ammunition running out, they face an uphill battle.

Investment banker and lawyer James Rickards claims:

1, Russia is winning the war except to anti-Russian diehards who refuse to see reality.

2, Russia won't attack the Baltics or Poland. It doesn't have the manpower to occupy Ukraine and take on NATO. In fact it doesn't have the manpower to take on NATO if it weren't in Ukraine.

3, NATO risks escalating this where missiles and nukes could be involved. If Ukraine can fly F16s out of a NATO country the NATO base would be a legitimate target for Russian missiles. If France sends troops it could escalate.

4, The US realizing Russia is winning might seize $300B in Russian assets in US treasures. Russia would respond by seizing $300B in US assets still in Russia. This is foolish and is weakening the US position as the place of safe investing.

I'm pro-Ukie as you all know, but I won't deny that Ukraine is on the losing side and Russia is on the winning side. What I am not however is happy about the current score.

Most of today's Republicans are the same as Putin's oligarch in the Kremlin in my eyes. The ones who are not are classified by the rest of them as RINO's.
