If he succeeded in capturing all of Ukraine in 2022, for all we know he could have been invading another country or countries by now.

More than those that think Putin is out to conquer the world.

As if Putin is going to take on NATO.

There's a reason the US is using Ukraine to fight Russia.
Proxy war outside of NATO.

Where do you get such nonsense?

Plenty on Russian TV have made it clear what Russia's intentions are.

Those in Poland or the various "satellite nations" certainly have no illusions about what's in store for them if Russia conquers Ukraine.

The difference is not Putin's ambition. The difference is there is someone who can stop Putin. Hitler saw a wide open path to conquering the European continent.

You just can't weasel out of this one.

What benefit does Ukraine have to start targeting civilians in Russia? Help me understand how this [targeting civilians] is in Ukraine's best interest to ensure continuous Western weaponry and support?

One reason Iran and Russia promoted the Hamas invasion was they thought that it would cause a rise in oil prices. The other reason was to divert attention away from Ukraine.

Urals oil closed today at $59.62.
Russia is welcome to sell all they wish at that price. Their cost of production is $44.

Natural gas is a different subject. The market for Russia natural gas seems to have been nearly completely destroyed. Down 56% in 2023. China has refused to assist Russia in building another gas line to China.

Ask the mainstream media. They have finally started to admit that yes, Ukraine targets Russian civilians.

As for my comment, it is definitely NOT in Ukraine's best interest to target other Ukrainian and Russian civilians. But wake up and smell the coffee, this has been going on for years. Ukrainian civilians in Eastern Ukraine were being shelled by Ukraine's armed forces since 2014 when the Donbas region decided to separate from Ukraine. Then when the war broke out, Russian territory was shelled as well. This is not the first time that Belgorod has been attacked. And all of this has already been brought up on this thread months ago.

But the ultimate authority is Zelensky and his Western masters. You can write them an email and ask them to explain it. Western support won't fade just because Ukraine has been killing civilians. The war goes on and Ukraine can do no wrong in Western eyes.
