But that doesn’t fit the woke narrative that NATO is calm and collected.

That's definitely not what other observers are saying - they basically predict the end of NATO because of this war, but I don't remember the specific details they are pointing at.

Basically it needs to be now before Putin can reconstitute its military. If the Ukrainian counter-offensive is truly successful Russia will not be able to rebound.
General Grant kept flanking Lee and forcing him back to Richmond and cutting off his supply lines. Sherman did the same thing to Johnston at Atlanta. Russia is doing a bunch of Fredricksburg, Cold Harbor and Kennesaw Mountain type attacks. Grant and Sherman learned after one time. Russian leaders don't seem to.

Keep in mind The Confederacy's supply lines had been severely severed by that stage of the war.......they did not have this on the way (see below). What would those battles have looked like if France stepped into the war. Lee actually approached Jefferson Davis in Richmond and suggested emancipating the slaves in the Confederacy in order to bring in European support. Needless to say it didn't go over very well but if European powers had supported the Confederacy...they probably would have been successful.

See, people like you accuse Russia of "aggression" while conveniently omitting the part, where Russia is constantly provoked for this aforementioned "aggression."
Exactly, Poland has been saber rattling Russia and talking crazy talk. They want the US dollars and recipients of military industrial complex spending. This is a direct quote from the Poland ambassador to France.

"If #Ukraine fails to defend its independence, we’ll have no choice, we will be forced to enter into conflict," said diplomat on air of the LCI TV channel.

Slava Ukraini !
This is so dumb, cheering on a war from the safety of the internet thousands of miles away. No more ammo, no more tanks, this is a senseless and cruel strategy.

Hitler said the same thing about Poland before he and Stalin carved up the country. Poland doesn't have much of a saber to rattle, which is why they are spending like crazy on defense now. Kind of like before WW2, when they realized Hitler had amassed a huge army and they put 2+2 together and figured out what was going on. I hope Poland's efforts this time aren't too late though.

Poland has been through this before, which is why they take military defense very seriously now. The alternative for them is to cease to exist as a nation.

I understand the history. Poland is not in this conflict or at risk of being invaded unless they put soldiers in Ukraine. If they do, they will give up NATO protection. There is virtually no threat to Poland unless they bring it on themselves.
