"The American People" = The talking heads on the boob tube... Remember when Mika Brzezinski told us all it was their job to tell us what to think?

Are you talking about Ukraine?
Isn’t Ukraine supposed to decide what is acceptable for it and what is unacceptable?

This Russian kid did a one year since the invasion look at life in Russia video.

Remember those protests in Russia earlier in the war? Russians don't protest anymore because Putin makes them pay with heavy fines and jail times. Some people here think the Russian people will topple Putin. Stop thinking like that.

A former mayor was jailed for 14 days because someone posted something about him.

Another person was fined $4,000 (a lot of money for the average Russian) for posting or re-posting anti-war stuff.

A couple were sent to prison for 6 years for posting anti-war stuff.

According to him, Russian propaganda is working very well in Russia. And I think in America too because there are some Americans who still think Putin is a good guy and Ukraine deserves to be invaded.

He talked about how sanction affect Russians. They see some inflation and for most Russians life is OK.

Me: Sanctions don't apply to consumer goods, so I don't measure the success of sanctions by looking at prices at supermarkets.

The American people won't accept a deal to avoid a nuclear WW 3? That explains your posts and propaganda. Since when the U.S. has to set the terms for a peace deal? That is the people of Russia and Ukraine to settle.

From your poll. "56% now say Russia-Ukraine war is critical threat to U.S. vital interests" and what interests is that?Critical?more west propaganda.

(Gallup interviews a minimum of 1,000 U.S. adults aged 18 and older) from a country of over 250 million adults.

When are you enlisting?

Yeah, I would think so, but apparently not. Obviously.

Ukraine is acting on their own free agency....if they see merit in this truce than it is their decision to pursue. We haven't seen details of what exactly this truce entails and all other efforts on this front have been not been acceptable to Ukrainian people and I highly doubt this one will either. Because....You. Can't. Trust. One. Thing. Out. Of. Putins. Mouth. Now if China can provide a path where Russia leaves Ukraine and allows for a Ukrainian Security guarantee from NATO. That's possible....not likely...but possible.

At this point a truce entails the cessation of hostilities in the Donbass and Ukrainian forces moving back over the Dnieper River. Negotiations that accommodated both parties with the continuance of Donbass as part of Ukraine ended back in February of last year after years of fruitless efforts in negotiating for a new European security framework and Ukraine's build up of military forces that would have seen the Donbass squelched and its Russian population subject to whatever the Ukrainian secret police had in store for them (pro tip: you can see snippets of what that entails in the territories 'liberated' last year during the summer months).

Does the truce mean involve giving up Ukrainian lands? Why would anyone do that? And if you say you would if you were the leader of Ukraine, you’re a liar.
