1. The government is not the answer to almost anything other than military protection for our country. Pretty much everything else? They mess it up. Or best case scenario the private sector can do a much better job than them. Answer? The smallest government possible.
2. Let people live, if they’re not hurting someone, and they’re just trying to thrive and have a better way of life, leave them alone and get out of their way.
3. Protect the borders, our culture, children and the elderly. This can start at the community level.
4. Begin to transition and train law-enforcement they have a better and more clear understanding of mental health. If I can talk down someone out of their mind, so should a law enforcement officer. Change the entire way police are viewed within the communities they serve. We want to like our police!
5. Let liberals be liberals and let Conservatives be conservatives by applying rule number two. Above.
So moral decline is the fault of the Left or it doesn't exist at all.
There is plenty of moral decline on the part of conservatives. They can include graft, infidelity, political corruption, nepotism, avarice, bribery, embezzlement, and insider trading, They sell out to big business, value profit over the environment, promote illegal immigration to depress wages and encourage cheap labor, and all manner of hypocrisy.
I just feel that liberals have a much steeper moral decline with abortion, homosexuality, encouraging transvestites, destroying the nuclear dad-mom-child family, destroying the work ethic, destroying basic Christian values of bahavior, mock patriotism, promote reverse racism, promote recreational drug use, encourage and enable out of wedlock births and fatherless homes, enable homelessness, and promote generally self destructive behavior.

I'd have to say that currently the far-right has the corner on fake-Christianity and fake patriotism- both of which are damaging to the real Christian beliefs and true patriotism.
America began its moral decline in 1791, when Big Government Hamilton got the "whiskey tax" passed under the assumption that it was a luxury tax that only affected wealthy consumers and producers, and it got support from folks advocating sin taxes.
This led to the Whiskey Rebellion, which lasted from 1791-1794, and ended when George Washington used federal troops and actual violence to collect taxes.
So uhm, less than 3 years after the ratification of the Constitution, the moral decline began. Soak the rich, use government power to enforce government imposed morality, kill people who resist government power, etc.
Yes and they are now paying people to burn conservative areas down and blame it on 'PGE'. When the fires happened each time the police have arrested some people in connection and it would be on the news briefly but then quickly hushed. Just before the US started their major fires over a dozen people in AU were arrested in an arson ring setting a lot of AU on fire back when justice still existed. I'm sure the myserious fires here that went from nothing to full in 2 hours or less are part of the same circle and it's a global thing. Europe had 'mysterious' fires too that cannot be explained by heat alone. All these fires have the same thing in common and the media is trying to blame it on mankind and big corporations to scare us way from private ownership.

3 years after the ratification of the Constitution and exactly 15 years after the very same people started a TAX REVOLT that gave rise to the country in the first place.
It's not a left versus right thing. It's a generational thing.
What you're witnessing is a direct result of the Boomer generation leaving and the younger generations taking power. It was always going to happen. Anyone with half a brain could have seen it coming.
Absolutely ! America is a very different place from when I was growing...which was not too long ago. Morals, class, common sense is just out the window. I knew things were different when excuses started being made for well known trouble makers.
