One would think that trespass is surely lower down on the priority list for the NYPD than murders, rapes, muggings and other violent crimes....

But I guess not.

Looting and burning by BLM types goes ignored, but an unvaxxed 5 year old is cause for 5 NYPD officers?

This makes sense to you?

Given the last sentence in their post, I don't think that poster is concerned with trivialities such as logic and sense.

What if I protest at a restaurant while holding BLM signs? Does that count as trespassing?

Ummm, yeah, OK. "some kid standing around with a gun" in NYC is going to be a gang banging POS and not inclined to shoot somebody for a Covid related reason. Or anything related to "law and order" as you put it. Now if somebody in the restaurant owed him some paper on a drug debt well he'd shoot everyone standing between him and the indebted offender. And maybe two cops would show up in an hour or so after making sure a 5 yo has his papers in order and there's the union mandated 10/7 of course.

NYC. No place like it.

Good reminder that cops will obey orders no matter how lowdown or nasty they are.

Pretty much. The cops are doing this because of DeBlasio. Don't blame the cops. Blame the politicians. The cops want no part of this.

They would lose their job, their medical insurance and ability to provide for their families.

It is the POLITICIANS behind this absurdity. From the White House right on down to the court house.
