Lets say 6 months from now, and 1-2 years from now, are more and more companies in Florida and Texas going to keep pushing for employees to get the shots and continue with regular boosters?
Are the states that display resistance against the mandates going to be able to hold back against what has happened elsewhere like in NY and CA and globally where there seems no end?
Is moving from a state like NY to a state like TX in order to not take the shots for having a job or going to the movies or to the gym, will it be worth it or will all states succumb to the mandates?
Hopefully we can keep a discussion about this civil and the topic here is informative for everyone. Thanks.
They will.. They won't have a choice. Vax mandates will be across the board.
Blues won't have power forever. Probably not for more than 1 to 3 more years. Then you will see the mandates reversed if not banned. Especially as it becomes more and more clear that these mandates are ineffective at solving the problem.
Private companies are allowed to mandate vaccines in Florida and Texas and this hasn't changed. Many companies had mandates before the federal OSHA rules and these companies still have vaccine mandates and they are still legally allowed to do so even in FL and TX.
Sounds like OP is confused.
Florida has a law which excludes local and state government employers from mandating vaccines but private non government employers are still allowed to mandate vaccines for their employees.
One example is United Airlines which mandates vaccines for employees. United Airlines has employees which live and work TX and FL also have to adhere to this mandate.

This right here. I would really love for one of these self-proclaimed “conservatives” come explain how a private enterprise exercising their right to keep a functioning and safe workplace is somehow political.
Right. Some employers are mandating the vaccine for their employees but the state of Florida, for instance, is not mandating vaccines or enforcing vaccine mandates. DeSantis at one point said that Florida may ban employers from mandating vaccines in the state of Florida. I don't know if that's possible but if any Governor would ban vaccine mandates in their state it would be DeSantis.
Probably not, extreme authoritarianism runs counter to the values of Texans. Those who wish for tyrannical totalitarianism should stick to the backwards states. The free states simply don't want any of that garbage.
