Private schools are exempt from the new law, yet DeSantis held the signing ceremony at a private school. The new law only applies to sports teams associated with public secondary and public post secondary schools. New law doesn't apply to public elementary schools.

Well I'd say he's probably a slightly better choice than the last President. But that's a low bar. Does that make him Presidential quality? The Republican party hasn't exactly been knocking it out of the park lately, so I'm skeptical. Still, we get who we get. If nothing else, he can probably handle a loss in a more sane manner.

I am really digging Desantis lately. Almost makes me wish we were moving to Florida instead of Maine. I really hope he makes a run for President in 24. He absolutely will have my vote if he does.
