You act like it makes a difference to the left who the Republicans nominate. It really doesn't matter. The troglodytes in the DNC/MSM will call anyone running against a Democrat a racist/bigot/xenophobe no matter what. Just ask Romney, McCain, Bush, etc.

Private schools are exempt from the new law, yet DeSantis held the signing ceremony at a private school. The new law only applies to sports teams associated with public secondary and public post secondary schools. New law doesn't apply to public elementary schools.

Well I'd say he's probably a slightly better choice than the last President. But that's a low bar. Does that make him Presidential quality? The Republican party hasn't exactly been knocking it out of the park lately, so I'm skeptical. Still, we get who we get. If nothing else, he can probably handle a loss in a more sane manner.

DeSantis doing his best to destroy the cruise lines. Crushing it daily.

Quote:
Gov. Ron DeSantis isn’t wavering from his ban on “vaccine passports” as a cruise line has received federal approval to set sail from a Florida port next month if passengers and crew members are inoculated against COVID-19.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, the governor maintained that Florida won’t exempt cruise lines from a new law, which goes into effect July 1, that imposes a fine of $5,000 for each customer asked to provide proof of a coronavirus vaccination. DeSantis said he also expects the state to win its lawsuit challenging federal restrictions that have idled the cruise ship industry throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

I agree. DeSantis is awesome.

Why on earth are you moving to Maine? A job? Family? Not many people move to Maine.
