A lot of conservatives that I know really like this guy and hope he runs for president so they can vote for him. But they also want Trump in 2024. DeSantis appeals to the more moderate conservatives that find Trump to be too obnoxious and rough around the edges. Time will tell who gets to beat Joe Biden in 2024.
DeSantis is only 42. Plenty of time for Trump's second term followed by 2 terms of DeSantis.
Apparently being the left’s public enemy number one is not a very good strategy for Republican wannabes. Ask a certain pouting former President. The DiSantis train wreck is pretty sad and will only lead you Trump worshippers to more disappointments.
