These armed protestors are nothing more than little boys with their toys. They are like the armed gunman who cowardly attacks soft targets like schools where there is no resistance. These are not men who would stand up for what they believe against those equally armed. No, they like to intimidate people who don't even own a gun. These are Trump cultist and just like Trump was a draft dodging coward they are cowards too.
Every citizen has the right to peaceful protest. Wearing body armor and displaying automatic weapons is a threat and falls far short of being termed "peaceful."
I am surprised at the number of Trump cultist who are protesting. Wasn't that $1200 dollars enough? Steven Mnuchin said that $1200 should last the average American family 4-6 weeks. Of course Trump and his gang gave billions to the biggest corporations who Trump just delivered a super tax cut worth a trillion dollars. Where's all that money? If Trump had of given the $500 billion to American families each one would have had about $20,000 to live on until this Covid 19 quiets down.
Perhaps you should put on your body armor, load your automatic weapons, and head to the White House and protest to those responsible for your dilemma.
They mandate the suspension of peoples' rights as the price required to calm the frightened.
You and your ilk have yet to explain which rights are being violated, and how.

The Second Amendment is rooted in State's Rights, not individual rights. As a safeguard against the newly created Federal government from dissolving and absorbing the individual states the right to organize and maintain well regulated militias was recognized in the Bill of Rights, and the expectation was the Federal professional army would be too small to be effective against the states.
Typically, militias depended upon their citizens bringing and maintaining their own arms. One way the Federal government could cripple the power of the states would be to disarm the militias. The Second Amendment is all about the state's right to organize and maintain a well regulated militia.
If the governor of Michigan did not call out these protesters and deputize them in the name of the state, they are not considered a militia.
Stop with the common sense and civics lessons! You know they're falling on the deaf ears of those who choose not to listen.

Some times one needs to exercise the second amendment right, in order to get the first amendment right recognized and enforced by the people who say they are duty bound to protect it.
If we all followed that logic, there would be guns present all the time.
Question is what do the people want ... do the people understand how the American debts are paid to their debtors? Do the American people understand what happens if they default on those debts ... ? Do the people think that the u.s. can just print money out of thin air and all will stay fine in their world?
Our country has stayed sovereign for a lot longer than most others; what happens next in this country will determine if that continues or this country goes under and the people can kiss the freedoms that they are taking for granite, good-bye.
Sooner of later the u.s. economy will collapse beyond repair; that's a given. The question is do people want to see that happen sooner ... or later? The choice is yours. As always, it will be the people's choice.
This is just small group of people protesting and I have yet to see a specific argument regarding what they actually want other than claiming its about freedom. What exactly do they want the governor to do differently or is this just a protest to complain without offering a solution.
I didn't see these people storming the capital over the 2017 tax reform act that added to the deficit, are they protesting about the debt increase now is that what this is about.
So what happens to the economy if Whitmer removed all restrictions and the virus comes back as predicted, what then.
So the legislature is suing the governor to take away her power for extending restrictions, assuming they win do they have a plan. Today Michigan had 850 new cases and 154 deaths, are they ready to open businesses and schools.
