Surely you know most people would not be so flippant about such a big decision. Perhaps trivializing it is her way of dealing with the enormity of it, though it does come across as inappropriate and insensitive.

She’s not free and clear here. The sheer vacuousness that’s needed to behave that way in what should be a solemn moment is actually kind of sickening. She should rightly be ashamed.
Nevertheless, while you may feel strongly about this, you also aren’t a teenager trying to raise a child. I don’t see particularly good parenting out of her, she has a lot of growing up to do. Meanwhile, you’re likely footing the bill for years of safety net benefits in exchange for a kid who may not turn out well and who likely has a higher chance themselves of becoming a burden to the system. It’s fine to feel as you do about this, but the reason I identify pretty strongly as a libertarian is because I also don’t see imposing your personal views and morals on others as a kind thing to do.
The way I see it is simple. Don’t like gays? Don’t sleep with the same sex. Don’t like guns? Don’t buy one. Don’t like abortion? Don’t get one. Don’t approve of religion? Don’t go to church. And on and on down the line.
