The Federal Government of the USA is a big part of the USA. It is in a sense the USA because the Federal government is what officially UNITES the states. Take away the Federal Government and there's no more union amongst the states. Understand? The UNION army in the Civil War - UNION. Get it? Federal, National Government of the UNION of states.

As for the rebellion being peaceful, it sure wasn't, and the Rebels were the ones who organized an army and attacked first. I don't know what dream world it is where the Civil War was a "peaceful" rebellion.

The Founding Fathers designed the Constitution clearly to set up a government in the US with checks and balances and a PEACEFUL transfer of power every 4 years so that there would be no armed insurrection to effect a transfer of power.

You don't like the Federal Government? Vote for people who will change it. That is your recourse. That is democracy. That is the American way and that is Constitutional.

You people want the peaceful transfer of power when your stupid candidate (like Bush) wins, and anyone who dares speak against Bush is labeled "unAmerican". But when your candidate loses, you not only speak against Obama, but you start murmuring about armed revolution. You claim you're not "unAmerican", just against the Federal Government (and that's a stupid argument made out of abject ignorance).

This is why you people are the political MINORITY in this country. People see through your lying and irrationality.

A pre-war February peace conference met in Washington, D.C., in a failed attempt at resolving the crisis.

The Constitution a simple contract, would it not require the agreement of all parties to rescind it, and called any ordinances of secession "legally void". He also stated he had no intent to invade Southern states, nor did he intend to end slavery in states where it already was legal, but that he would use force to maintain possession of federal property. His speech closed with a plea for restoration of the bonds of union.

It could have been very peaceful. Remember our Constitution, give states more power than the federal government. The confederate states expressed this right and were denied. The states were unconstitutionally being controlled by the federal government. Sound familiar to what is happening today?? Watch out!!

The time for revolution, wether we like it or not REALLY is NOW!! But for it to be successful, it MUST be concieved and carefully planned in secret. Our present gov't has been corrupted beyond any hope of repair. Greed has permiated all aspects of our system and those in charge are very gradually taking our liberties and freedoms. We are being slowly transformed from CITIZENS to SUBJECTS.This attempted subjucation of our people MUST NOT be allowed to prevail! It is time for all of us who TRULY love our freedom to seek each other out and begin to organize. These meetings can be easily desguised as innocent events such as picnics, church functions, and so on. We must step away from our computers (myself included),find each other and unite. As the thousands of unemployed make the transition to homelessness we must let them know that they are a very important assest. Soon our homeless and unemployed will OUTNUMBER our military and civilian forces. The evidence is everywhere, just look around. They have the potential to be a risistance movement that is just waiting to be organized. This new risistance movement MUST be founded on the belief in the common good of the people and the COMPLETE removal of the current major corporate and government officials.Instead of a flesh and blood person, the leader of this new resistance will be an IDEA AND A BELIEF! It must be a movement that cannot be silenced or defeated by the removal of members of its leader ship.It must be ruthlessly guerilla in its actions and DECISIVE in its efforts. The leadership must be patient, devious and tactically cunning. A centralized leadership would be a fatal flaw.Revolution is NEVER pleasant or pretty, and this one will be no different. We will likely have to deal with traitors in our own ranks and SEVERE personal loss. Be that as it may, the time for TALK IS OVER! We have been lied to long enough!! Begin to gather the needed tools to rebuild the nation that our CONSTITUTION promises!!! If you have read this to this point, that is a great first step! Go outside and talk to your friends, co-workers(if you still have jobs), families and anyone who will listen. There will be MANY who will call us everything imaginable, such as domestic terrorists, right or left-wing radicals, crazies, militants, political dissidents,extremists,enemies-of-the-state and so on. BUT... there will also be many who call us true PATRIOTS!!! and they will join us. THOSE WHO HAVE NOTHING MORE TO TAKE ALSO HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE AND IT IS BY FAR BETTER TO DIE ON YOUR FEET THAN TO LIVE ON YOUR KNEES!

I'm dying to know how you came to that conclusion. States having more power than the Federal government was the very reason the Articles of Confederation were scrapped and the Constitution was enacted.

I'm with Mama on this one and have been saying it for some time. What's the worse that could happen? Yes, they could make some examples to attempt to frighten others. But thats been happening since time immortal.

The logistics of pulling it off could be difficult at best. You know the Govt. controlled media wouldn't go along even if most of the staff played ball in secret. Those of us with guns could put off most IRS agents at first. Poindexter isn't going to take a 12 gauge to the face to collect.

Now, once Poindexter returns with a van load of ATF agents in full body armor and AR-15's things could get a bit, shall we say, sticky?
Which is why I say a properly supported minaret atop your roof concealing a belt fed M60, armor piercing bullets and full 360° sight works wonders in keeping ne'erdowells at bay.

I recommend playing on an Xbox to improve trigger pull speed.

Obama has a lot in common with Hitler.

Also signed on this historical day, March 23, 1933: Hitler's Enabling Act.
