I believe that with the growing sophistication of automation, that eventually a majority of people will be more of a liability than an asset, and that majoritarian democracy will fail when that happens. Which is unpopular almost by definition.

My views are unpopular witih the following echo-chambers. On the right, my views are unpopular with the alt-right, white nationalist and to some extent mgtow. On the left my views are unpopular with feminists, conscious woke blacks and social justice activists.

Love the thread - reminds me of that site where people post their secrets.

I think food prices should be higher, as our current system of big agribusiness and cheap prices has led to a massive decline in the quality of food, the overabundance of cheap food and is a major contributor to obesity.

I think that politicians should stop coddling almost all minorities and stop ignoring the wishes of the majority.

(And to be clear, I do think everyone should have basic human rights and respect, but this kowtowing to certain segments has gone much too far, imo.)

I also think that no one over the age of 70 should run for any kind of political office.

Oh, and no freebies for anyone who CAN work but chooses not to do so. (However, all children under the age of 16 should receive decent food, shelter and medical care. It's not their fault if their parents are lazy. Again, I want to emphasize that my hard-heartedness only applies to those who see nothing wrong with freeloading and will do so given the opportunity. It definitely does not apply to those who can't work due to poor economic conditions in their area or if they have some kind of disability.)

Racial politics. It's no longer about tolerance or judging people by the "content of their character," now it's about guilt, payback, demonization, collective condemnation and opportunism.

By today's definition, I am a racist. A couple of decades ago I would have been moderate-liberal.

Small Federal government like the founders envisioned. It's unpopular with elected officials on the left and the right.

If it makes you feel better I just think you're confused.
