Health care is not a "right" as many like to claim.

A presidential candidate should have experience as a military officer as long as that role is also Commander in Chief that can order military strikes with no real oversight.

Executive power should be cut back. It has grown well beyond what was intended.

As long as we continue to be dominated by 2 parties who refuse to compromise, no bill should become law without some minimal bi-partisan support. Certainly if you can't convince even one senator of the opposite party, no go.

I don't fully understand the transgender thing and I tend to believe men are men and women are women. With that said, I'm 200% for trans rights and full equality from a legal perspective. That belief will anger both sides of the political spectrum.

It was a mistake to give approval to the CTEA of 1998.

There are too damn many people on the earth; all of our problems arise from that fact.

So, we should:
- make abortions free and at any stage of a pregnancy
- free birth control
- apply the death penalty to any violent crime or property crime over, say $10,000
- cut off Medicare at age 75 (except hospice care)
- get rid of income tax deduction for having children
- stop giving out Narcan to OD'ed drug users

Is that controversial enough for you? It will never happen but it would fix global warming, deforestation, over-fishing, lack of adequate fresh water, air pollution, water pollution and a lot of other problems.

I'll chime in. How about "life is not always fair." Most people get it except for those dreaded Democrats who seemingly skipped that day of life class.

I agree about overpopulation but think educating women is far more effective and less draconian than your proposals.
