Look Putin's ***** Comrade TЯump has disgraced the office of the presidency more than any other occupant. People are going to express disgust at him because he is disgusting.
Trump is losing the ability to make serious money by being president, and I suspect his marriage is in real jeopardy.
Melania appears to want to leave, and he likely wants to move on to the next very very sexy young woman who will hold her nose and have sex with him to enjoy the lifestyle he leads.
And now, he's basically helpless politically.
Why in the world would he continue with this for 2 more years?
He won't. And she won't.
Then others can help the U. S. get on with things..(making America great again. )
That, in all reality may be exactly what is going to happen.
He wants to leave his presidential mark in history.
He has to options that he could do right after Feb 15.
One as you state, call a national emergency, or one other he may have given some thought to, and that is telling congress he will resign if he gets complete funding for the wall, not just the five billion.
Remember, just today in his speech in the rose garden he stated he has other options, and is looking into them.
Perhaps this is one he has not made public yet.

Then explain trump university shutdown for fraud and trump foundation shutdown few weeks ago for illegal activity, he didnt even fight it or his lawyer cohen getting 3 years in prison for violating campaign finance laws which under NY state laws can still indict trump.

Mainly it was tax fraud and making false statements to a financial institution. (Can you believe a person can get 30 years for this one? Think about that the next time you apply for a mortgage or credit card) There is the one thing about making an excessive campaign contribution, though, so they threw that in there. The main thing is the tax fraud and lying to the banks, which had to do with his own business interests, not Trump's.
Cohen is a weasel, no doubt about it. But do you see what's happening here on a much larger basis? The entire legal system under which we operate is getting exposed as a protection racket. I just learned that "attorney client privilege" doesn't exist.
