Trump had almost two years and complete control of the White House, for those two years he didn’t seem interested in a border wall. But he had no problem giving wealthy people and Corporations a huge tax tax break, totaling about $2 trillion and now he wants the wall? Is it me or is there something wrong with this?

The government would be continuing to operate.

And - now that everyone has publicly backed themselves into their respective corners, things are a whole hell of a lot tougher to resolve.

After all, back on December 20th, Mr. Trump tweeted:

"With so much talk about the Wall, people are losing sight of the great job being done on our Southern Border by Border Patrol, ICE and our great Military. Remember the Caravans? Well, they didn’t get through and none are forming or on their way. Border is tight. Fake News silent!"

So, the border was 'tight' less than a month ago. What changed since that time?

Ah, Limbaugh, Hannity and Fox news.
What's changed in addition to the rwnj mouthpieces badgering him is that tRump can see Mueller, SDNY and NY AG all closing in on him.

His shut down keeps him in the headlines w/o those scandals being front and center.

He'll milk it for as long as he can.

Bully for you and your husband for being able to get by.
If you had a government job as you claim, then you know that government employees have health insurance---and that doesn't go away during a furlough. So, your "health crisis" argument is a weak one. Try again.

As for having problems paying bills---creditors are well aware of the furlough and are willing to work with furloughed employees.

Well, thank you, for praising our ability to get by! It's appreciated Making sure we lived below our means certainly helped quite a bit.

Oh...and you well know, since you claimed to have worked for the government, that when the furlough is over, workers will get their back pay.

Since you claim to have worked for the government, then your questions about those willing to take government jobs if employees quit was rather odd.

Here we go again with this nonsense.

Obama had a majority democrat house and senate during his first two years of his first term. He wanted amnesty for all the illegals. With that in mind, why didn't he ram it through and cram it down our throats?

Ponder that for a while and you will have your answer.

just to keep things in perspective instead of just seeing a startling headline.

Quote:
Planes will still be able to drop off passengers at Terminal G throughout the day.
Quote:
Flights that usually leave from that terminal will use gates elsewhere in the airport. Chin said G was chosen because it’s the slowest concourse at MIA. He said only 12 planes usually fly out of G after 1 p.m., meaning the disruption only affects about 3 percent of the roughly 450 departing flights MIA sees on a typical day.
MAybe the additional terminal is not really needed at this point.

Do you think the power company etc, gives a damn if your laid off or let your job? Yeah you’ll get the money back and you’ll get your lights turned back on as well.

Trump had two years with a republican majority in the house and senate why didn't he get it passed then? I'm sorry but this doesn't pass the smell test.

You should ponder the fact the TRUMP is president not Obama. It’s a fact the fact you can’t stay on topic is another fact. If Trump wanted the wall so bad he should of done it while he had control of the house. Fact.

The answer, of course, is that he did not want amnesty for all illegal aliens. Why can't you have a discussion without relying on intellectual dishonesty? Is it because your position is without merit and thus you have no choice but to rely on lies to support it?
