Schumer and Obama DID fund it. They funded and built enough to where Obama could then lie to say it had been completed!
You're right but why doesn't Schumer want it funded and built now? It was the Democrats that changed it from double barriers to flimsy fencing that could be breached. I'm sure Schumer knows that to.
You and I have covered this in other forums. 700 miles was approved and built but does need improvements and completion. He needs to stop changing all his alternative facts
If we just enforced all the immigration laws in place, they would stop coming. The billions would be better spent following up on all the expired visas and checking employer employees citizenship. We can start with Trumps golf course in New Jersey. That wall is a small part of a bigger problem.
That wouldn't stop criminals, the drug runners nor those from known terrorist countries from coming here without a wall.

Mr Trump doesn't need to declare a national emergency.
Trump did not shut down the Government. There are plenty of people willing to work in those positions. He just needs to say "YOU'RE FIRED"and they will be replaced tomorrow. If something did not go my way at my private sector job and our team "shut down", we would not have jobs, guarantee it.
