My perspective when I hear that is the problem is being identified and admitted but the it should continue because members of all political parties do it.
What you should be hearing is that the real problem is an unwillingness of people to call their own guy out for bad behavior. I voted for Clinton twice and have no problem calling him out for his bad behavior. Same with Obama.
If more people did that, the quality of our politicians might rise above the level of gutter.

People being loyal to their party of choice and their politicians, has lowered the bar considerably. Pols know they can do just about anything and get away with it.
