Either she is lying under oath or Kavanaugh is. THere is overwhelming evidence that Kavanaugh lied about at least some things in his testimony. Nothing for her yet. Who to believe? Who to believe?
It's actually your firm belief that a Circuit Court Judge, top of his Law class and distinguished author on Law is not aware that he is Under OATH, penalty for Lies at his Supreme Court Nomination Hearing??????
He is well aware of every word he has written or spoken - just because Partisans and Leftist Media say "he lied" ..... doesn't it make it true. IF it were true - he wouldn't have been Voted to the Full Senate, he would have a charge of Perjury placed against him.
There is no "overwhelming evidence" at all .... in fact no "underwhelming evidence of a lie" at all.
THAT is why the Leftists have moved on from "attempted rape, Gang rape, drugging, drunken blackouts, bar fights, groping, exposing himself >>> Lies Under Oath >>> to Judicial Temperament >>> which will also fail.
The ABA never "downgraded" Brett Kavanaugh -- they just didn't give him their highest rating the FIRST time he was up for a Nomination - their stated reason was "No Experience as a Judge"
That's not a "downgrade" .... that's a 1st Grade.
12 years on the Bench and 307 Opinions got him the Up-Grade.

Involved views of some ABA evaluators on various committees that he was difficult to work with/opinionated, that he would "dissemble" in the courtroom (that is lawyer talk for lie), that he was too partisan because of his work for ONLY Republican organizations--either in the WH itself, the Starr investigation or the short time at law firm
There were others who valued his writing ability and other factors--
So they wouldn't knock him all the way down but did drop him from HIGHLY recommended to just Recommended...and that was before he got the appellate court seat after waiting for 3 yrs to gain approval...
Once on the bench for so long--his rating went up
Likely there was turnover on the evacuation committees themselves--not that he changed...
See. That is the difference between a. Man who can tell the truth about his youth with negative aspects and Kavanaugh who would lie like a rug to get onto the Supreme Court...
The problem is that plenty of people now are coming out of the shadows who did know Kavanaugh and know he is lying so all it does it make Kavanaugh look like a putz...
Agreed -- I really don't see any way to stop this sort of thing (false accusations) UNLESS the DOJ starts applying the LAW and prosecuting them. It's getting out of hand - moving from College Campuses to the highest Courts in the Land.
Kavanaugh really needs to focus on his mental illness and alcoholism before thinking about being on the Supreme Court. This is a lifelong appointment, and you really have to be at your best to hold that position.

What's funny is I used to be a big Clinton fan back in the day. I went to a Clinton rally in 1992 in Charlotte, got to shake his hand....he never even saw my face because it was so crowded. Now I think that's a good thing. I would have been fresh meat in my mid 20's. (This isn't puffing. I have seen some of the women he went after).
In 2000, I used to argue how great he was with this guy at work who said he was a pig. But then I voted for Obama in 2008 and started seeing the whole, big sordid lie. That guy from work emailed me and said he now liked the Clintons. I said I thought Hillary was a criminal and he never replied. He was a jerk anyway. (Announced my age all over Facebook on my birthday).

I googled "sworn statement alleges Ford lied under oath", and I went to the CNN and Slate websites. I find no mention of this "story" anywhere except the right wing tabloid press.
