I mean seriously. Would society be more accepted of interracial couples and not be looked down upon?

And do you believe more black men and white women who were born in the 1980s onwards, that more of them would be marrying as time moves forward?

I have seen many interracial couples, married or just in long term relationships, and didn't feel they were judged or looked down upon. In fact it seemed to be kind of a "in" thing to date interracially. But it probably depends where you go... I am sure there are some areas where this attitude still exists. Thankfully I don't live in such a place.

I'm involved in one of those interracial couple relationships, and the only negative reaction that this white male, and black female, has experienced has been from black families and friends.

As for the black men and white women, why are you focusing on just "that" avenue of the question? Why not black women and white men? Ohh your just a racists against white men, or is it black women?

No, I'm not prejudice. The reason I ask that is because I'm a black male and I happen to find white women attractive. I'm taking interest in the bm/ww combinations. Does this answer your question?

LAFan , as a white man I am heartened to find some common ground with someone of another race. Like you, I also find white women attractive.

Hmmm....unfortunately interracial marriage and dating will not be mainstream for a long time. Probably not in any of our lifetimes...so I'm not hoping for it.

(Oh and I am a Black woman that almost always dates interracially)

The thing is that I find women attractive and don't care about the opinion of general society. As long as it clicks I don't look at race (since beauty is only skin deep anyway).

The problem I have with some people who (for example) have 1 Dutch parent and 1 Indonesian parent is that when they're in Indonesia they believe themselves 'superior' to the Indonesians because they have Dutch blood, but when they are in the Netherlands they feel superior to the Dutch because they have Indonesian blood.
So I guess it depends on the character of the individual; if they feel themselves inferior or insecure whenever they are part of a minority.
So I don't think that race really is the problem but that it is more being part of a minority.

The more we mix, the less racism we will have. Aside from self-loathers.. I mean its really hypocritical to be half black and half white and say you hate Blacks.. makes no sense to me.

The military is probably the most accepting of interracial marriages. Interracial marriages/dating were more acceptable in the military than they were mainstream from the get-go.
The military is pretty much based on communism.
It's a good thing.
