How do,you know they are republican?
Because they were appointed by a republican president — that doesn’t make them R.
And no matter what party they are, SHAME ON THEM for their incompetence!
"Newly released documents confirm House and Senate investigators’ claims that the Department of Justice and FBI used materially false and misleading information to secure wiretaps on Carter Page, a former volunteer foreign policy advisor to President Trump. The highly redacted documents released in response to Freedom of Information Act requests show how the FBI was able to convince the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to surveil the Naval Academy graduate and energy consultant for a year of his life"
The whole plot is falling apart. Libs are in denial because the MSM keeps reassuring them not to believe what they see, just believe what they write. We'll know the *** is up when we see Obama back in French Polynesia for an extended vacation.
Quoting from the linked article.
It remains possible that Page is the most talented spy who ever walked the earth and fully deserved to be surveilled by the federal government. It is also possible that the surveillance was ordered merely because the country has an intelligence apparatus that was unable to recognize their main source was a liar whose sub-sources were at best playing him and whose recklessness left his little partisan research project open to manipulation by foreign adversaries. Barring those options, our intelligence apparatus misled a FISA court with materially false claims.
There is of course another option; that is there is supporting information in the redacted sections of the application.
I do find it interesting that in essence the claim is the DOJ was conspiring to create a FISA warrant to spy on Trump so they excluded information that didn't support their position. Yet, the author quotes a long section where the DOJ lays out one of the denials.
Tell me what evidence isn't from the Russian 'dossier'? That should be simple enough, since there's so little of it.
It's virtually all from the Russian 'dossier'. Every mention of 'Source #1' is the Russian 'dossier'. Every mention of media leaks is the Russian 'dossier'. Every mention of validation from media articles is the Russian 'dossier'. The allegations that Page met with Russians after the election is the Russian 'dossier'.
In fact, the ONLY evidence I've seen in the application that isn't from the Russian 'dossier' are the FBI's claims that Page was meeting with sketchily Russians from 2013-2016.
Page 13 covers the efforts of Page to be recruited by Russian spies.
Page 24 where Page is called a informal advisor to Russia
Page 32 which references some of the redacted information and states that they believe Page i compromised.
The dozens and dozens of redacted pages that have nothing to do with the publicly available steele dossier.
Pages 67 and above-the 3 or 4 applications for extension-EACH of which requires that actual valuable intelligence be found based upon the prior application or extension. IE they had to find something incriminating!
George W. Bush nominated Rosemary Collyer to D.C. federal court, and Michael Mosman to the District of Oregon. Ann Conway was a George H.W. Bush pick to the Middle District of Florida. Ronald Reagan tapped Raymond J. Dearie.
Constantly accusing President Trump of treason will not make him guilty of it. You need to look up the legal definition.
Even Alan Dershowitz, a Democrat, says he isn't guilty of treason. It's part of the Left's attempts to whip up hatred, but it's going to cost you in November, because most people are smart enough to know it's the same old Leftist hateful rhetoric. Funny thing is you never called Obama a traitor when he went around the world trashing America to our enemies. And I didn't here anyone rise up in outrage when Obama was heard saying, "This is my last election; I can be more flexible after the election."
Why should there be outrage based on that statement?
George W. Bush nominated Rosemary Collyer to D.C. federal court, and Michael Mosman to the District of Oregon. Ann Conway was a George H.W. Bush pick to the Middle District of Florida. Ronald Reagan tapped Raymond J. Dearie.
Where in the world do you get your information?
I think there may be some projection going on.....as he said to me:

"Monaghan did not recommend that any charges be levied against Page. In fact, the section of the document discussing Page never characterizes him as a conscious spy or security risk, instead framing him as a victim of Sporyshev and Podobnyy, who expressly denied that Page knew about their status as intelligence agents."
Why did FBI agents at the time not arrest or "out" him as a spy then?
"Page cooperated with the FBI in 2013 and provided them information that ultimately aided the DOJ’s successful prosecution of a third Russian spy who had worked with Sporyshev and Podobnyy (Evgeny Buryakov)"
Why would Russian intelligence trust Page after that?
