"Proud Boys, the Infamous Right-Wing Brawlers, Head to the Heart of Antifa Country"
These right wing thugs aren't going to Portland to sip coffee at the bookstore. Just another example of how Trumpism is dividing America and inspiring violence.
Seriously? A violent organized communist militia is embedded in Portland's community. You and they have no room to criticize until Portland refuses to tolerate the communists in their midst. The last time that the proud boys were in Portland, they were there to protect Patriot Prayer from Antifa violence after a speaking event. Predictably, antifa got violent with dangerous weapons (and literally got knocked the f out as a result). The city is lucky that there isn't an LEO or military operation to root Antifa out and arrest them given the danger they pose. Portland wasn't even able to hold its parade because the communists wouldn't tolerate a Republican float without threatening hard tactics. Denying a party space to be seen in a community is specifically risks this nation.
These fringe groups that are demonstrating do not represent a sizable majority of the American people. Their get togethers would be ignored by the masses if it weren't for the lame stream media continuously pushing the divide and conquer strategy. If the people stopped lapping it up, it would end, but too many people do not want it to end. They want Americans at each other's throats, because it's incredibly profitable for some, and allows others to command all the wealth and control.
No, Antifa has a demonstrable politically oppressive effect in Oregon. Even against mainstream Republicans.
when a right winger is going to have a speech and the left thugs show up, the violence that follows is the right wing speakers fault.
when the left winger is going to speak and the right winger thugs show up, the violence that follows is the right wing thugs fault.
when the left takes over some place and shuts down all dissent, and some right wing group takes exception to it, the violence that follows is the rights fault.
if there is violence and that violence is between two or more left wing groups it is the right wings fault.
in all cases, violence that occurs anywhere in the world for any reason is Donald Trumps fault.
get it people.
sounds pretty accurate...and remember the left jokingly call themselves the tolerant side. lol
But THIS thread is about the Proud Boys. As much as you want to make it about Antifa - it's not. Start your own thread.
If I have to choose between white supremacists and anti-fascists ~ I would to be on the anti-fascist side.
The Left tries to limit the Overton Window of discussions all of the time on this board, when points are made that contradict their intended carefully scripted narratives. That effort has never worked here, and it won't work now.
What's more is there to know? Both sides prepare for a fight when they hold their rallies. Knowing the nature of these rallies, and who typically shows up, I can see why. Personally, I am all for letting them duke it out, just so long innocent people aren't hurt and private property is not destroyed in the process.
Once again, lost on the thoughts of many is that groups like these specifically target certain locations AND publicly announce it, so that they will bait groups like Antifa to show up.
Shrug. ANTIFA uses violent tactics, vandalism and threats of violence to try and make a point. I can't feel bad for them if some one does the same thing to them.
I dont feel bad for thugs in one gang getting beat up or killed by thugs from a rival gang.
