Americans. It's not longer OK to refer to yourself as a "hard worker" because the term is offensive to the "Slave Experience".

Given that dear Melissa has never met an American slave picking cotton in the south, I submit that she doesn't know what she's talking about.

She doesn't even know the difference between work and slavery.

I guess this is what an Ivy League "education" (and a pretentious hyphenated name) gets you nowadays....

Well, some people have stupid opinions. There's nothing more to it than that.

If you watch the clip you can see she was using that as a segue to the greater point that while Ryan sought an established work life balance in his deal, he has been an opponent of that for the American worker. I agree it came off i guess dumb is not a bad choice of words. I understand that conservatives in general think those work life balance perks are something you earn not given to you by the government, while I don't agree, when the media says that Ryan is against work life balance is a bit oversimplifying his stance.

If you are wondering why Trump is rising in the polls it's because he managed to tap into a general backlash and revulsion people have for this CONSTANT political correctness nonsense and people being offended over every little thing.

The bigger question: Who keeps pictures of slaves in the cotton fields on their office wall?

Pretty sure any one who was actually a slave is long since dead. So who exactly is getting insulted? And why is pointing out someone's work ethic as good an insult? My boss told me I was a hard worker during my recent review. I was not insulted and took it as meaning I got the job done and did it well. It didn't hurt that there was a nice raise for working hard during the past year.

I swear to God we are going to have to start kicking people out of this country and I don't care where they were born.
