Good while the amount of attacks on U.S. soil by foreigners haven't been much they have cost us quite a bit in some rather large attacks. The truth of it is before 9-11 many of the acts of terrorism has been homegrown loonies. Remember the Oklahoma city bombing that wasn't by a Muslim that was by a right wing extremist. How about all those abortion bombings those were not Muslims or foreigners either those were right wing extremists. Also while we have been investigating muslims and other foreigners in this county we have allowed the mafia and other groups like them to get more powerful. And let us not forget those anti-militia groups and the other right wing neo-nazi groups in this country. I get it it's hard for many right wingers to come to terms with this but not everyone who is different or who is foreign is an enemy.

Obama enhanced Bush's position on this and I would expect it to get worse with each new admin. along with the growing dissatisfaction of the fed govt.
What we have now is a system where all the executive has to do is to declare you're an enemy and they can lock you up or kill you. No proof required, no trial etc.

A right winger did hold office when this started and i never got picked up the federal government i also don't belong to some right wing anti-government milita or a right wing hate group. If i did get picked up and get found not guilty after being investigated i would be angry and i would sue them for lost wages and mental anguish. This is what happens when we have a right winger at the helm of a national tragedy instead of making things better and thinking with a level head they go cowboy on us and create the DHS,TSA, and the PATRIOT ACT. Also i didn't notice many righties on this site at the time condemning the NDAA. So guess what when you don't think these things will affect you at the time and you ignore and belittle those telling you something this is what will happen. Now you go on living in fear the government is coming to get you and i will go out today and pick up some more clothes for work in the morning.
