Actually you even ignored the portion of the evidence I posted...Nobody is saying that global warming is causing the CA drought....
It may not be causing it but it could be making it worse. I think the issue with people that don't believe in science is that they don't believe in science. It's too bad with posters here but worse when these beliefs are held by people with power.

Anyway, I am hoping that El Nino pulls through and we have a wet Winter but if it is like 97-98 then we'll have flooding and mudslides. It rained HARD for 4 months every fricking day (ok, there was the occasional break). But still. No rain or too much - can't win...

Measurements across the entire planet are not weather, that is climate. The usual comments like it's cold in SW Colorado is weather. These measurements were established by scientific research organizations in both the US and Japan, that is called science.

We have had several of the warmest years on record in this decade, not a week here or there.

My gosh, what an amazing, and factually backed up response! The sheer amount of data you used to back up your opinion amazes me.......just not in a good way.

Modern man has been radically transforming the natural environment since the dawn of the industrial age.

For example,

Thousands of species of plants and animals become extinct every year as a direct result of human activity.

The Amazon rain forest is now just a small fraction the size it once was, and countless living species
within it no longer exist as direct result of human commercial activity.

Many of our rivers lakes and streams have become grossly polluted and uninhabitable for many creatures that once lived in them. The oceans are becoming more acidic everyday as a direct result of human waste and pollution.

To say that man can never have any impact on his environment (which includes the climate) is sheer ignorance and idiocy.

I think he did a brilliant job of summarising the content of ALL his posts on this topic in only 2 letters.
