So anyone can put any statue they want in this park? I would think there would be a board that had to approve requests. I never heard of Baphomet. What were his philosophies on the rule of law? What did he contribute to the legal system that led up to the founding of the United States?

Irrelevant. The government can not discriminate. If you allow one you have to allow others. I happen to support that idea 100%. The founders never meant for people to have to keep their beliefs to themselves but rather they were for all being able to express themselves.

Why would an atheist be against "thou shall not murder" and "thou shall not steal"... I guess they are fine with murdering and stealing. This is a reason why they should be arrested as a big threat to our country under one God. Our motto says it all! Even with the mention of God, since they don't believe in Him why care?!
