Chase away liberals because they have to pay an up charge for Obamacare? Oh I get it, you want it but don't want to pay for it. Liberals.. what losers.

Chase away liberals because of their political position, nothing to do with money. If it was a money issue, why not just raise prices? Why make a political statement about prices? We all know what happens with consumer prices. They don't easily go back down to what they once were. If I were a business owner, I would not lower my prices even if my business costs went down, unless my competitor did it. Neo-Confederates, such rubes

Obamacare is reaching into everyone's pocket including having a meal at a restaurant. Businesses will suffer and diners too.

I am one of those Liberals who just wouldn't eat there. Not because I can't afford to pay the surcharge, but because I refuse to give petty business owners who use their businesses to force their political views on people. They could have easily raised the prices on their menu items slightly, but they would rather make a point by putting ACA on customers' bills. Poor business owner now has to offer health insurance to their employees...Sorry I don't feel bad for them and I wouldn't spend my money there.

Some neo-Confederates just can't see that. They think that you just want everyone else (well, Republicans really) to pay for your healthcare and not about politically disagreeing with the restaurant owner

Yet you liberals have no problem forcing your opinions and policies on everyone else. Hypocrite.

Of the hundreds ... maybe thousands ... of restaurant chains in the US, why is this one adding the 1% surcharge? Would it have made sense to just raise their prices a nickle here and a dime there?

Wouldn't raising their prices a nickle or dime per item require ordering new menus to be printed?

Didn't seem to bother any Americans when your domestic cars had a cost attached due to benefits packages awarded to workers, or were you just too stupid to realize those costs were passed along to you.

Whats the big deal here?
