According to an outline, the first article is based on "Operation Fast and Furious" a bungled attempt to build cases against major gun traffickers who supplied firearms to Mexican drug cartels, while electing not to immediately prosecute low-level traffickers even as they bought 2,000 potentially illegal guns.

The operation came to light after two of those firearms were found in Arizona at the scene of the fatal shooting of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

After Holder refused to give a congressional committee subpoenaed documents about the Justice Department's involvement in "Fast and Furious" he was found in contempt of Congress. The House oversight committee has also sued for the documents.

If the House actually impeaches Holder, the GOP doesn't deserve to lead this country, they're too tactically stupid.

I agree. The Republicans just seem so desperate....and they don't even need to be. There are plenty of things the Obama administration is doing very wrong/are going very wrong yet they are creating distractions and causing the attention to be placed on them instead.

I actually tend to agree, too. Anyone paying attention knows what happened in F&F. It was a program to put guns in the hands of drug gangs, in an effort to spike violent crime rates, which then could be used to justify new gun control legislation. Holder nor the BATF were ever able to provide an explanation for why the op was conducted the way it was, and at this point it's safe to assume that this is the true explanation.

That's despicable; however, Obama was relected with that info out there. This is really a political problem and has to have a political solution, not a judicial one. Remember it was Goldwater and other Republicans who pushed Nixon out the door after Watergate. If Democrats won't hold their own accountable, if they want a corrupt DOJ, then it's up to Republicans to beat them at the ballot box.

What I find interesting is that Obama LIED and claimed Bush started Fast and Furious, when it was his own WH that approved of it. Over 200 dead people from the program and our president is shirking on his duties and responsibilities with it...while falsely blaming it on Bush...while the blind sheep applaud and move on.

Never ending parade of Obama either being oblivious to what his own WH is doing or him blatantly lying and the media lapping it up.

By the time any impeachment stuff is realized these jokers will be out of office. Better off devoting the time and energy and cost to something else.

My guess is that now that the whole country knows Obama lied to the American public for years about Obamacare, they're capitalizing on that to draw the public's attention to the fact that Holder has lied for years about F and F, doubling down on the message that the Obama Admin has been one of lies and corruption, branding Dems with that leadership style and the fact that Congressional Dems didn't police their own, going into the midterm elections season.

I agree with you, in part (it's the timing), but this isn't likely to go anywhere at this time.

We need to focus on ObamaCare, which is the issue of the day (or maybe the year) and offers the best chance for Republicans to regain power (if it is worked right — not optimistic).

Apparently no one here recalls the events that led up to the Nixon resignation.

The fallout of the Obama lies is just beginning.

Get the popcorn out and watch the show.
