Well gee why shouldn't the CIA get worried.
Aren't we the ones that set a precedent of bombing from drones with no concern ?
Now that other nations have the capability of bombing from drones we get "concerned" ?
This is going to be fun watching how this plays out.
The US has executed nearly 500 drone strikes in various countries and has set the precedent.
"You can't have drones but we can" mentality.
The age of the drone is here, and U.S. intelligence agencies are warily monitoring their proliferation around the globe.
..
What’s worse, clandestine strikes carried out by Washington in far-flung corners of the world have set a precedent that could be ugly.
..
Mr. Singer said as many as 87 nations possess some form of drones and conduct various kinds of surveillance either over their own territories or beyond. Among those 87, he said, 26 have either purchased or developed drones equivalent in size to the MQ-1 Predator — the model made by San Diego-based General Atomics.
..
The concern, said the Brookings Institution’s Mr. Singer, is that adversaries will point to U.S. behavior as an excuse for carrying out cross-border targeting of “high-value” individuals.
"Aren't we the ones that set a precedent of bombing from drones with no concern ?"
No concern? Your so VERY wrong that it is pathetic! You have absolutely NO CLUE for the order it takes to give permission to release a weapon from a drone! Please refrain from a subject that you obviously have no clue about!

Nearly 500 drone strikes. The "no concern" was for the precedent it has set.
Any nation can assassinate by drone and give the excuse they were an enemy of the state.
Yeah..I have "no clue". Read the damn article. Plenty have a clue and plenty are now worried about the drone environment we have created.
And it seems it doesn't take much anymore these days to give permission to drone bomb, even when kids are seen at the bomb site.
And we're being told that these drone strikes are on "terrorist training camps" when in fact they turn out to be normal people living in villages.
Maybe YOU don't have a clue .....

When the order to fire on a target arrives, Bryant paints the roof of a hut with the laser that will guide in a Hellfire missile released by the pilot beside him.
"These moments are like in slow motion," he says to Abé.
No doubt, because on this occasion Bryant says a child walked from behind the building at the last second. Too late for him to do anything else but ask the other pilot, "Did we just kill a kid?"

Terrorist groups can build and deploy drones. It doesn't take a nation to do it.

This is different than the "we can have nukes, you can't" mentality how?
This is different than the "we can invade other nations unprovoked, you can't" mentality how?
maybe it's time people learn the axis of our universe doesn't pass thru Washington DC.

That mentality seems to be strong in DC though.
THEY are worried because other countries can do what we do and they don't like that.
It is no different than nukes and UN Inspections.
We can have nukes and we can refuse the UN inspectors but no one else can.
Like we're the boss of the world ?
Our day is coming. Let there be no doubt about that.

I think if we finally begin to realize we are not the keepers of the world and instead concentrate on our own issues we'' be all the better for it.
