So, what do you do on "Trayvon Martin Day"?

Walk around on sidewalks, and if any Hispanic guy walks behind you, turn and punch him, knock him down, and pound his head into the sidewalk for a while?

Sounds like a worthwhile "day" to me.

Yet another reason why this country's public school system is going to hell in a handbasket.

Throw in some OJ, Chris Brown, and Michael Vick while they're at it!

It is a wrong to present day youths to idolize a person that lost his life while engaging in a crime, in this case, felony assault. That sends a message out to his peers that crime is OK and in fact we have seen an increase in black on white crime all over the Nation. It has become popular as a "knockout" game or polar bear hunting game. The Trayvon Martin events is just another way to teach hate. We should be teaching our youth to respect the rights, property, person, and space of others.

Many on the right complain about the government tracking us and rightfully so. What Zimmerman was doing was no different. I hate two faced positions out of people.

And for the left, the government has no more business tracking us than Zimmerman did Trayvon. That said, this was bad decision on the part of the school system. It would have been sort of funny if it was something the students came up with and just did but it wasn't very bright for the school to get involved with it.

Did you seriously just equate the actions of a neighborhood watchman who had the "power" to patrol a street to that of an all-powerful National Security Agency who can track your every movement, inside, outside, digitally, or otherwise? And then have the gumption to refer to those who disagree with your comparison as two faced?

Unbelievable.

Agreed this is not something for the school to be involved in.

That said, I see no reason to make jokes about a dead teen-ager such as what I've seen on this thread.
