I guess that depends on what you do and the opportunity to do it. Oh and of course you are not blinded by what you see/hear on television. For me personally I have not seen a difference one way or another (well, except for the three years that I have waited for a raise......thanks Congress!)
I do not see the general economy as improving, but other than not getting any pay raises the past few years, it really hasn't affected me or my standard-of-living. The only real tangible change I've made is that I'm concentrating on paying off my debts instead of buying stuff I don't really need.
It's not about what one believes, it's about what the facts are. I know, facts don't apply to conservatives but they are what matter here in reality. All factual indicators show that the economy is approving so suck it up.

Depends on how you define "Improving". Do you base that on GDP numbers, the stock market, the bond market, the housing market, the unemployment rate, the poverty rate, inflation, retail sales, median incomes etc. Also, even if you do base it on such leading or lagging indicators....does one consider it REAL improvement if it comes via the expansion of DEBT? How much growth in debt is required to produce growth in the economy and SHOULD growth via debt be considered actual growth....hence, is growth for the sake of growth a good thing?

Do you believe that the unemployment numbers are being cooked?
Nope....the U3 numbers, that represents the official unemployment rate, does not include the impact of part time workers or discouraged workers. However, the government does keep figures, the U6, that does track those demographics.

Do you believe the economy will be help or harmed by Obamacare and his polices?
I think the economy will be harmed by ObamaCare mainly due to the power of self fulfilling prophecy by so many people who believe it will and want it to fail. I think many in the Business world are Republicans/conservatives and they have the power to sabotage the success of not only ObamaCare, but any economic turnaround.
