I found out that Obamacare (silver plan) will double what I already pay. What a bargain, only 11% of my gross salary. I guess the healthcare companies have gotten their way, and perhaps the CEO of UHC will give himself another 1 billion dollar bonus. Obama, America thanks you for your guidance - to the poorhouse.

It's not just the insurance companies. Obama decided the businesses did not have to cover people either, at least not for now. So now it's just individual people stuck buying an expensive policy. I predicted this so, yes, I'm going to brag now.

How much $ will the silver plan cost you?
For how many in your family?
Did you account for the tax credits?
Is your existing insurance being cancelled?
Is it employer or individual insurance?

None of the above. It's just a rant.

And now, on the other side of the coin, Obamacare will actually get me insurance plans that I can afford because I have 2 preexisting conditions that have made insurance expensive to get. Thanks, Obama! Not everything is doom and gloom

Those with pre-existing conditions are actually the ones who will benefit, along with those under the poverty level, although many of those were uninsured, and just used the emergency room for free medical.

And not only the amount of the policy but also take into account the high deductible and co pay.
There are many low information people who think that with an Obamacare policy, they will walk into a doctors office thinking the visit and services are FREE.
