Yea I saw that...the caption is almost sympathetic too... "How his family failed him"...
I love Rolling Stone but for them to lower the bar like this is unreal. And I think it has to do with his "underground" celebrity. Females all but forgive the dude for his actions because they think he is "cute" or "sexy"....and I just can't shake the idea that RS is pandering to this sentiment. Almost glorifying it as "punk".

Very disappointing to see them use that picture. Also, the sympathetic angle they take looking for someone, other than the bomber, to blame. With the exception of mental illness or special need (and just like Trayvon) the only one to fail Tsarneav was himself.
If anything, this is a publicity grab to boost sales....which isn't a political decision.
Can we please not go into poo throwing monkey mode and just discuss this heinous decision?
Liberalism isnt about politics. It's a mindset. That mindset is at play here in this magazines decision to post bomber boy's pic. Its VERY relevent to the discussion.
Rolling Stone has ALWAYS been heavily into politics since its inception.

I didn't know that setting off bombs and killing people could get you on the cover of RS. I always thought you had to become a talented, acclaimed musician. Huh, learn something new every day in America...
