He got his ass knocked out, and that's how it should be. I feel zero sympathy.
The person who assaulted him has been criminally charged and that's how it should be. You feel that someone saying something you don't like gives you the right to assault them I see. How sad and pathetic. Most people grow out of that mindset by the end of high school.

I personally wouldn't get physical if someone called me the N word. I'd probably laugh in their face and make fun of their appearance or them being trashy. Now, if some adult ever directed the word towards my children, or anything like that, I might have to beat someone's a**.

That's not your problem with this incident.

You don't like it that a black dude punched a drunk white guy that was acting like a jerk. Maybe it hits too close to home for you.

If a drunk black guy interrupted a white couple rudely and called them racial slurs, you'd be nominating the white guy for a Medal of Freedom to be awarded at the White House if he knocked the black guy on his ass.

So please...at least attempt to HIDE your real feelings about this. You don't give two sh*ts about the legality OR morality of this incident, and neither do the other posters that dislike what the black dude did.

I can't believe that guy actually left his girlfriend on the spot after punching the inebriated dork! Wtf? Good on him for his lights out given the circumstances, but ditching his girl like that makes him just as much a punk b.tch as the other guy. I sincerely hope the police make them cellmates.

He maybe charge but remember even the court have held that fighting words is a defense. So he may get off in trial by it being decided to be a fray( fight) in legal terms.

I doubt that it'll ever see the inside of a courtroom. If the charges don't get reduced, no jury is gonna throw the guy in jail given the circumstances.

People hate drunk idiots...even juries.

You are exactly right..the only thing the puncher really has to worry about is that douchebag punchee suing him now.

That dude I'm sure has so many issues right now. He shouldn't sue. He should man up for his mistakes.
