The federal government granted $23 billion in research grants in FY2010 alone. As soon as scientists say it aint real the money is gone. but there is no motivation to overlook contrary evidence, unless you want to make the monthly mortgage and car payments and send little Johnny to private school.

Ah... Research dollars are given out every year, NOT to PROVE anything, but to conduct research wherever the science leads it and research on climate change has been going on for decades through both Republican and Democratic administrations. If you are looking up who pays for what, look up who is paying for climate change denial.

Have you looked at some of these grants? It's hilarious in many cases. They've already advertised the conclusion in the grant proposal. Seriously, check out grant.gov. So many of these RFPs are asking for a specific conclusion. How much you want to bet those scientists will find the same conclusion?

I love how all of the arguments that climate change deniers are making on this thread are politically focused, as if this were some sort of ideological dispute. Given that you all would fail a high school physics exam, you want to do anything but actually take the quiz.
Why should I? I don't disagree that climate's change. You said the quiz was to address those who deny that climate's change.
You'll note that not a single person has spoke up to note that they disagree that climate's change despite the accusations to the counter.

We have a grand wealth of information on the history of the world and the different climates different areas have undergone over the centuries. I agree that I see nothing political in that.
Well, that was a disingenuous reply if I've ever seen one. There's plenty of folks on this board who refuse to accept that the climate is changing right before their eyes. A few admit it's changing - but that's just natural they say. And a large perportion still think climate change is a fairy tale invented by lefties with their own agenda to push.
So, which group do YOU fall into?

Citation is not required on issues of common knowledge. That is, unless we have gotten to the point where people don't even know what that is? It is possible, many pseudo science classes these days either redefine it to mean consensus or ignore it entirely.
Interesting forum post of a quiz that any self educated, self righteous "climate change denier" should take.
I say this because most of you guys would horribly fail a high school honors physics test, and wouldn't even try to address any scientific question...unless if that question has political implications, in which case you suddenly, magically become experts on the matter. Suspicious?
