2. Passed the Stimulus - And we are wose off for it
3. Passed Wall Street Reform - And lined his and his cronies pockets
4. Ended the War in Iraq - Already underway
5. Eliminated Osama Bin Laden - No thanks to him, black sites, interrogation and G-Bay would be gone if he had his way - again, all underway when he took over
6. Recapitalized U.S. Banks - How much has this cost taxpayers?
7. Turned around the auto industry - Again, losing $$$ hand over fist
8. Repealed "Don't ask, don't tell" - Big deal

But according to the conservatives who are insisting that Obama is personally responsible for the IRS and AP scandals, everything that happens under his watch is under his direct control.

So Obama is responsible for killing OBL.

But before we get too drawn into right-wing scandal machinery, let’s pause a moment to reflect on the ad’s central claim. Chris McDaniel, a Ford customer, explains, why he likes Ford: “I was going to buy from a manufacturer that is standing on its own. Win, lose or draw. That’s what America is about.” The thing is, Ford is not standing on its own. It has received billions in federal subsidies to keep 13 factories working, and 33,000 employees on the job in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Missouri. Here’s what happened:

You mean the death of Osama bin Laden that was allegedly carried out by Seal Team Six and only after several attempts at getting approval to move ahead with the operation? The death which the White House now says they have no video evidence of? The death of Osama bin Laden, possibly the most notorious enemy of the United States in modern history, whose body was dumped overboard after a religious ceremony and before anyone could actually verify the identity of the body?

Is that the termination you are speaking of?

Harrier hates no one.

If you really believe that we are better off than we were 4 years and 4 months a go, then this thread is your big opportunity to explain how and convince those those of us who disagree.

Good luck.

5. OBL - Seal Team Six did that.
6. Banks - Yeah right.
7. AI - Be serious, will you?
8. DADT - See response to #1.

1. I suppose that's a matter of opinion. I like the fact that a poor person can go to the doctor, thus avoiding much more expensive emergency treatment down the road.

2. $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2009

3. Oh really? the banksters didn't collude to cause the housing crisis? think again.

5. Under the President's direction

6. He prevented the banks from going under, which means you are able to eat today.

7. The big three have all gained market share

8. I maintain that civil rights for everyone should be a goal

Yep, that's the one. The one whose actual existence you can't bring yourself to acknowledge, because it was an unquestioned (except by tinfoil-hat types) victory for President Obama.

I'll accept that, if you'll accept that he has responsibility for that bad stuff.

Credit and responsibility are inseparable. You don't get to have the benefits of one without having the drawbacks of the other.
