Maybe this time you'll answer the question. And they all get retroactive approval.

Here's a Texas organization that got RETROACTIVE approval. OOOOOOhhhh- that means something must be hinky with them, huh?

Hey, don't worry, "The One" will remain pristine.
Has nothing to do with left/right.

The IRS can move and act and disregard laws when they want to.
I was just showing that a tax exempt illegally operating for 2 years can get record approval.
So the IRS made up for the 3 years dragging of other applications by approving this one in record time in spite of their illegal actions and made them retroactive so they weren't illegal anymore.

Obama's on TV now trying to do control.

He'll hold the parties responsible.

Shortest speech he's ever given.

So - if a pro-life group shows up and says "Hi, we're so not political and we'd like to be tax exempst, thankyouverymuch", the IRS is just supposed to click their heels?

Obama canned the acting head and will have the IRS investigate those others involved and take appropriate actions. Also will have IRS incorporate all IG recommendations....

Determining whether an application meets the guidelines is exactly what the IRS is supposed to do. The fact that the IRS took a unrepresentative sample doesn't mean that this particular application was meritorious.

So taking 3 years to review an application is acceptable to you ?

At least the IRS had guts enough to come forward and admit they did wrong.

Without knowing the details, which neither you nor I know, that can't be answered. Perhaps the IRS asked a question and the group didn't provide a response.
