The Left praises government when they use heavy handed tactics against their political enemies. They will also screech the loudest when the tables get turned.

Thousands of groups pop up claiming tax exempt status and you think they shouldnt be investigated ?

"Certain tax-exempt charitable groups can conduct political activities but it cannot be their primary activity."

Also, the statuses where investigated(atleast it seems) based on name, so as far as they knew, they were investigating liberals just as well as conservatives, or do you think conservatives are the only ones who use the word patriot ?

Hmm. The head of the IRS in 2012 was a Bush appointee. Is this why this thread was started, to bash Bush again?

They picked the words "tea party" and "patriot" to choose which groups to harass. Yeah, they had no idea what they were doing.

ETA: What's funny is the IRS has admitted to targeting conservative groups and apologized for it. Not sure why people here are trying to say it didn't happen.

The difference is that they went after "tea party patriot" for Conservatives and "hate america patriot" for Liberals.

They admitted to targeting groups with the names tea party and patriot in their names. The word conservative has been inserted by the right.

Again, are you saying that there are no liberal groups with those words in their names ?
