This was a bad move by the IRS, no matter what people think of the T Nuts, they should not be singled out for anything...... well, other than ridicule.
For once I actually agree with you Fl. Bob...
This should be investigated-sickening....I wouldn't care if it was left wing liberal groups...the IRS should not be playing politics...

I remember when people started going to the WH site when there was talk about going galt. Even though we all knew it would of course be denied it was a way for people to speak out. I remember people joking about government collecting names of people. Can you imagine? In North Korea people and 3 generations of family are put in prison.
If you are saying that the president is behind this you have reached conclusion based on incomplete information (a conjecture).
It's certainly interesting though that the IRS took one of the most sucessful political movements in recent history and so tied them up in knots they were ineffective in the 2012 election cycle. Obama was a direct beneficiary of the IRS injecting themselves into the political system.
Hell, who needs voter fraud when you have the IRS at your back.
From Politifact:
"Harry Reid says anonymous source told him Romney didn't pay taxes for 10 years! Harry Reid said "But obviously he can't release those tax returns. How would it look? … You guys have said his wealth is $250 million. Not a chance in the world. It's a lot more than that."
The political enemies of the Obama administration were targeted by the IRS during an election year. It's no different.
Richard Nixon did it, too...... He was impeached.
They say this has been going on since 2001???? Right after the liberals were PO'ed Al Gore lost.
Is the IRS a Progressive agency... You bet. it is the soul of Progressivism.
Eliminate the IRS and the other 100 agencies that rule this nation.
And now the latest, they knew about the targeting since 2011:
"Senior Internal Revenue Service officials knew agents were targeting tea party groups as early as 2011, according to a draft of an inspector general’s report obtained by The Associated Press that seemingly contradicts public statements by the IRS commissioner. on June 29, 2011, Lois G. Lerner, who heads the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt organizations, learned at a meeting that groups were being targeted, according to the watchdog’s report. At the meeting, she was told that groups with “Tea Party,” ”Patriot” or “9/12 Project” in their names were being flagged for additional and often burdensome scrutiny, the report says. The 9-12 Project is a group started by conservative TV personality Glenn Beck. On Jan, 25, 2012, the criteria for flagging suspect groups was changed to, “political action type organizations involved in limiting/expanding Government, educating on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, social economic reform/movement,” the report says.
I'm sorry but managers and executives involved in the Exempt Organization Division IRS‘ Rulings and Agreements office should be fired for this. What the heck do the employees go for annual Ethics Training for if not for something like this? Lerner, as the Division head, should be taken to court for abuse of power along with Chief Counsel. Judicial Watch should step in.
No, the IRS should not single out people or groups for political beliefs. So how did this effect them?
Probably not.Liberals aren`t the enemies of America.Liberals didn`t cause our credit rating to be lowered.
