The media is burying the entire thing right now. Nobody cares about the truth anymore.

Looks like it was planned to go down right after he met with the Ambassador from Turkey because they let the guy from Turkey walk before they attacked.
Yep and when Petraus didn't say what they wanted him to after the attack they took him out and swept the whole thing under the rug and blamed it on youtubers. Messy situation getting involved with dealing arms funneled through bad guys hands. Well I guess as messy as hiring AQ operatives to play "rebels" and pave the road with NATO bombers to kill momar.

I assume not finding the bursting dam is the same as "burying"?

In fact, can you show me one quote from Obama that attributes the attack, without qualification, solely to the video? The only time the video was part of the conversation was in the early stages, when the situation was being assessed, and when, coincidentally, several protests over the video were occurring, including in front of US embassies. Why are you people trying to pretend that wasn't happening? Why, when it was occurring all over the Muslim world, would you not consider it in the initial assessments? Because you'd rather have definitive statements issued before all possibilities are considered? Because it doesn't fit into your little narrative? We know now that it wasn't the video, but in light events concurrent to the attack, having considered it in the course of an investigation makes sense to me, and it ought to for anyone with half a brain.
The only people still talking about the video months later, are people like you.
Protesters don't show up with machine guns and rpgs just to stand around screaming "Death to America". Those weapons are there for a purpose. How long did the "protesters" "protest" outside of the compound? 5 seconds? 5 hours? Did the people in the compound hear the "protesters" chanting and screaming about America? What was that - did you say "no"?

How many embassies/consulates/missions were under attack? Some embassies were breached, but no one died and weapons weren't used. Every other location where there were protests took place during the day time, lasted from one hour to several hours without any violence. Why wasn't there a protest during the day hours at the embassy in Tripoli, like every other country? Why "protest" at night? This was an attack on a compound and then on an annex. Not exactly "official" diplomatic stations are they?

Because their image and reputation is at the front in all their decisions.
And they delegate because no one up high wants to get caught with their hand in the bag.

Interesting article in The Atlantic about this:

Quote:
Truth has been the watchword of the Benghazi controversy. "The goal here is to get to the truth," said House Speaker John Boehner said at a Thursday press conference. "Four Americans lost their lives. Their families want to know the truth. The American people want to know the truth. And I believe it is Congress’ obligation to get to the truth." The truth may indeed be out there, but where it lies depends on who you ask.

It still remains to be seen, who gave the orders for these diversions and coverups. It could have been President Obama himself, or then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, or even lower-level bureaucrats in the State Department who knew their job was to protect their bosses and so made these decisions themselves. Could even have been Obama's campaign staff, which is still going strong, long after the attacks and the election are over.

We need to find out three things:

1.) What exactly happened?

2.) Why did it happen?

3.) Who made the decisions and gave the orders?

Today's hearings are finally making some progress on the first point. One way to know that, is by observing the stridency of screams from the Democrats, and the frequency with which they desperately raise other subjects and try to divert attention.

Points 2 and 3 are yet to come. Expect even more screams, insults, and frantic diversions from Democrats as we get closer to the answers.

You are the perfect example of somebody who doesn't care about the truth. Of course you probably didn't mind Clinton wagging his finger at the entire country and lying either though.
