How many embassies/consulates/missions were under attack? Some embassies were breached, but no one died and weapons weren't used. Every other location where there were protests took place during the day time, lasted from one hour to several hours without any violence. Why wasn't there a protest during the day hours at the embassy in Tripoli, like every other country? Why "protest" at night? This was an attack on a compound and then on an annex. Not exactly "official" diplomatic stations are they?
Only Cairo had protests before Benghazi got attacked.
Eye witnesses said there was no protest.
The State Dept finally said in October there was no protest.

There was never any protest.

They all blamed the CIA for saying there was a protest.
And this was a CIA base no less full of CIA employees.

Between 125 and 150 gunmen, "some wearing the Afghan-style tunics favored by Islamic militants,". Some had their faces covered. Weapons they used during the attack included rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), hand grenades, AK-47 and FN F2000 NATO assault rifles, diesel canisters, mortars, and heavy machine guns and artillery mounted on gun trucks.

Susan Rice said the attack resulted from a popular protest against a U.S.-made video, rather than a pre-planned terrorist attack. President Obama defended Ms. Rice, a front-runner for the secretary of state job.

Of course the race card was pulled. Rep. Marcia Fudge (D.-Ohio), the incoming chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus accused Sen. John McCain of "sexism and racism" because the criticism of the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice for telling the American people that the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was a spontaneous reaction to a video posted on YouTube.

Could even have been Obama's campaign staff, which is still going strong, long after the attacks and the election are over.

We need to find out three things:

1.) What exactly happened?

2.) Why did it happen?

3.) Who made the decisions and gave the orders?

Today's hearings are finally making some progress on the first point. One way to know that, is by observing the stridency of screams from the Democrats, and the frequency with which they desperately raise other subjects and try to divert attention.

Points 2 and 3 are yet to come. Expect even more screams, insults, and frantic diversions from Democrats as we get closer to the answers.
Yes we are fully aware of the party of NO shame diversionary tactics.

There was no flood in Libya. We're talking about four people who were killed. Go find a global warming thread.

Interesting reading little acorn.

I see you also posted the same thing here:

Did the worst part of our Benghazi failures come, not after the attacks, but BEFORE them?

Yes and the were all watching youtube and saw that dastardly video and grabbed their RPG's and AK's and ran out to "protest". That is what we are supposed to believe. That is what the administration has sold to these brain dead morons who support this nonsense. It's really quite unbelievable. Yet in today's world nothing is when a group of people believe Obama and co are some sort of God.

Just heard that Obama will hold a press conference regarding Benghazi. Also heard that he stated that the only change the WH made to the CIA talking points was "embassy" to "consulate". Will he really say that seeing as he should know that there was no consulate in Benghazi? Does he know what a consulate is and it's purpose?
