Me too. I left the party after disagreeing with the Social Conservative's attempting to use the schools to push their religion parading as pseudo-science. The GOP itself has been hijacked by extremists and people who twist conservativism as a cover for their own prejudices. Furthermore their's this pervasive pessimism that just knee-jerks "NO!!!" to every possible goverment function, and a mentality to cast out anyone who disbelieves in the purity of the cause.
