Bill Clinton never faced the level of adversity that Barack Obama overcame to rise to the highest office in this land. No previous president has. Clinton was not as scrutinized as Obama, not nearly as opposed by Republicans as President Obama has been. The mess that Dubya handed off to the new President Obama was far worse than what Dubya's father gave to Bill. Clinton didn't have to deal with this current version of Republicans in Congress, worst in history. The problems that this President has to deal with are far more complex than they were during Clinton's era before 9/11.
[SIZE=5]Clinton was disbarred by The State of Arkansas.
He also paid a $25,000.00 fine there; this was all over the Lewinski incident.
He also paid an $850,000.00 settlement over the Lewinski incident.
He was also disbarred from practicing law in front of the Supreme Court.

So Bill Clinton, a disbarred lawyer, a President who was impeached for lying under oath,
And you think he should be revered AS A "GREAT" President?
Obama has done an amazing job compared to George W. Bush. Obama's first term started cleaning up the mess Bush left. Just imagine where we would be if Obama actually had a GOP looking to make deals.
Yeah! Instead OF $16 trillion in debt it would be $20trillion or more.
Clinton was better than Obama, but that's a pretty damn low bar and certainly doesn't make him great. The best thing about Clinton was he learned from the beating his party took in 1994 and moved toward the center and actually compromised, unlike the current "we bring a gun to a knife fight" "our way or no way" administration.

Either you are no older than 25 or have a poor memory. Bill Clinton had plenty of opposition, far more than Obama. Remember Whitewater, the independent investigation by Kenneth Starr, Travel-Gate, the 1994 mid-terms and congressional opposition, Paula what's-her-name's sexual harassment claims that ultimately lead to his being impeached because he lied under oath about sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. What opposition has Obama faced? He's been called mean names, accused of being friends of terrorists and attending a racist church, and accused of not being born in Hawaii. Boo-frickin'-hoo! Nothing has ever stuck to him because the traditional media treats him like a cult leader. And perhaps the current version of Republicans in Congress are his own damned fault. He's demogagued them and pitted people against each other so much, what do you expect them to act like? He's not a leader, but he's a great celebrity. I've often wondered what he wants the job so much for.
