Sure do. Does that mean the state is allowed to destroy part of the constitution? I think not.Just because 1 man and his left comrades in the legislature say its OK doesn't mean the entire state and the people in that state think the same.

F NY. Who cares about that place. Let em stew in their own juice. How come it is that they cry about the lax laws in places that do not have high crime, and its the places that has the highest crime has the toughest gun laws. Why is Virgina not swimming in crime like NYC? Or Chicago? Its not that cities fault its the other states where crime is low. Screw the big cities. I am not giving my guns up because some hood rats shoot each other over baggie shorts or some POS Air Jordan's. Let me kill each other we are all better off.

Willard already made the assault weapons ban permanent there when he was governor as well as many other anti-gun legislation.

And just because a few thousand citizens want Texas to secede (a procedure that is nowhere described in the Constitution and may very well be unconstitutional) doesn't mean the entire state and the people in that state think the same.
